Regency Mahogany Dining Table

Regency mahogany dining table. Can be split into two separate side tables. With four leaves it extends to 10ft and would seat fourteen in comfort. There is a centre leg (a later addition but of the same period) which provides extra stability when extended. Two original leaves and two period replacements. Dancing was fashionable in the Regency period and tables of this type which could be split and moved to the sides of the room were popular.
