Yew wood windsor chair by John Amos of Little Gonerby, Grantham. Circa 1830. Stamped AMOS GRANTHAM on upper rear of the elm seat. Crook shaped underarm supports, crinoline stretcher and ornately turned front legs of a type which are which are peculiar to the Grantham makers. Good, rich colour. In very good condition.
